It is that time of year and registration for Awana at DBC is officially opening today. All clubs will have a cap this year to ensure we have a healthy leader-to-clubber ratio. We are determining the caps based on the number of leaders we have in each club. If you would like to help by serving as a leader in one of the clubs this year please contact me for more details on how to get involved.
If you are interested in registering your kid(s) for Awana then please fill out our Emergency Information Form (Word format or PDF) and return to our office. The documents can be filled out electronically and emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org or you can fill it out by hand and return the hard copy. We need a form for each child. (Hint: families with multiple kids to register might want to consider filling out the forms electronically so they can fill out the full doc once, duplicate it, and only change the kids specific info.) Once the form has been received you will receive a confirmation that your child is registered for Awana. Registration fees and material costs will be due when you pick up your child's club book.
You can check out the cost as well as details about each club on our Awana page. While most of the club specific information is current, we are still in the process of updating it for this year so you might run into a form from last year.
