2024 Life Together Weekend

Hey Momentum folks! Want to get away for a weekend? Then get in on Life Together Weekend. Here is your chance to just take a breath for a few days and refocus. We eat. We play games. We spend time talking about what it looks like to put faith into action and then we do it! On Saturday we will participate in a service project to be a blessing to our neighbors in the Shady Grove Apartments. On Sunday we will worship together as a group. Our discussion this year will focus on questions like: What does God want me to do? How do my interests, my skills or talents, and my personality play into that? What are spiritual gifts? We believe God has shaped every one of us uniquely to serve and build one another up, so we’re asking the question, “What does that look like for me?”

What Does It Cost?

We want everyone to be able to come so we are keeping the cost to students as low as possible. We are asking each student to pay $50 to help cover the cost of food and activities. However, we are committed that no one misses out because of cost so please contact Mike if the cost is a burden at this time. Go ahead and register and when you check out select “Pay Later”.

Where Will We Be?

  • The March home will be girls’ base camp.

  • The Ryan home will be guys’ base camp.

  • We will meet at the March home around 5pm on Friday.

What Do I Need?

You will need all of the items for every-day life:

  • Register online here (same as above).

  • If you have not completed the emergency information form for this year, then please do that. If you’re not sure if you have done that yet or not, contact Mike to find out.

  • Bring signed permission form the day of the event.

  • A Bible

  • Refillable water bottle

  • A change of clothes for Saturday and Sunday (we will go straight to church Sunday morning)

  • A warm jacket, sweatshirt, etc. to keep you warm outside (we will be outside a lot)

  • Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.)

  • A towel/washcloth (don’t make the host homes provide towels - there are too many of you)

  • Sleeping bag & Pillow

  • Might want a flashlight for the corn maze (or plan to use your phone’s light)

  • A positive, flexible spirit ready to serve others

How do I pay online if I don’t pay when I register?

  • To pay online go to the “Online Giving” page.

  • At the bottom of the page select “Give Online”.

  • Enter the amount to give/pay.

  • Select “Give one time"

  • Fund: “High School"

  • Select “Next"

  • It will ask you to verify your mobile number. Enter your number.

  • Select “Next"

  • It will text you a security code to verify it is you. Enter the code and select “Confirm"

  • It will then ask for the information for you payment method. Enter that and confirm.
