We use the term advent in conjunction with someone noteworthy or important. Never in the history of the world was there the advent of someone more important or noteworthy than the Son of God. And yet...

Given the deity of Christ we examined in our previous message, His arrival was so humble and unassuming - not to mention His humility in ultimately giving of Himself on a cruel Roman cross. As believers, this same humility is commended to us to imitate. A practical application of our meditation on Sunday will be developing that same humility in our hearts as we engage others in our home, our church, our workplace, and community.
