Text: 1 Samuel 7:1-14

In 1 Samuel 7, we find the people of God in a state of disobedience, followed by repentance. In a difficult situation, and after Samuel's intercession, God intervenes once again in the history of Israel, delivering them from their enemies and making the intercessor declare that “Till now the Lord has helped us.” What are the stages of God’s intervention which are applicable to our Christian life today? What happens when the Lord intervenes… then and now?
